Suitable body font to use with VAG rounded

I was wondering if someone could help me with finding a suitable font—to use for body copy—that works well with VAG Rounded. Should point out that this body copy will be on a website so a font stack would be super handy. I was going to use the rounded for headings and found a @font-face service that has VAG rounded but it is still in beta and won’t release any information as to how much the service is going to cost, or when it will be ready, so that pretty much rules that out. Any ideas on what I should set the headings in? Thanks for your help
Aug 05, 2010 03:12pm Stephen Coles Total Posts: 23	If you want a webfont that works for headlines and text you might consider FF DIN Round. If you just want a VAG companion, Futura is the most obvious candidate, as VAG was based on it.

Yeah I was thinking that FF Din Rounded was probably the closest choice for headings, after looking around Typekit. I wasn’t aware that VAG was based on Futura, great to know and I see how well it fits with the rest of the design. If anything it can be used in the font stack as a fall back option. Cheers
