Background
Newzald is a hardworking text typeface designed for the international editorial environment. Its economical rigour is drawn from classic Dutch typefaces by such masters as J.F. Rosart and J.M. Fleischman. Newzald’s large x-height and slightly condensed forms allow many words to a column without looking cramped or ungainly. Newzald has four weights, ranging from the brisk Book to the emphatic Black, that provide a dependable palette for the discerning typographer. Its extensive character set includes a wide array of accents, seven numeral sets and small caps across all styles.
