Background

At first place there was the desire to build a sans-serif that would have a logic geometry, and an anti-ornamental and clean design. But geometry itself was not the goal. Much effort has been made to achieve equal parts minimalism, aesthetics and legibility.
Inspiration for Malmö Sans were Futura, DIN Schriften, Bosis, Orator and Frutiger.
