Background

A humanistic typeface that was designed for display purposes with an aim to keep legibility in text sizes. The concept of the typeface derived from the idea of softening the rigidity of Grotesque San-serifs by integrating Humanist proportions. Lokum Sans was developed during a research study of Humanist San-serifs versus Grotesque San-serifs, which highly involved a critical analysis of type design and Typography since the 15th century. Lokum Sans supports central and eastern European languages in three weights with accompanying italics.
