Background

Originally reated by Jeffery Keedy in 1989, which he called “Bondage Bold”. Rudy VanderLans saw the typeface in his design work for CalArts and Los Angeles Contemporary Exhibitions, and approached Keedy to sell the typeface through Emigre. After some adjustments and additions (adding a “Regular” weight) the font was released in 1991.
