Background
FF Kievit Slab is not just the Sans with slab serifs attached. It has been carefully adjusted and fine tuned in width and contrast to help make it an extremely legible typeface. It comes in all nine weights with italics, small caps, old style figures, lining and tabular figures. FF Kievit Slab has been in development for over four years working together with friend Paul van der Laan to make this a perfect companion to the FF Kievit family. Some early versions of the Slab and the upcoming Serif versions were also used in the new identity of WDR (West German Broadcasting).
