Background

The Dalliance family was initiated by the elegant handwriting found on a map of a horrific battle between the Habsburg Coalition and France which took place at Ostrach, in southwest Germany, in 1799.

A roman style and flourishes were added to the script face and turned Dalliance into a fully functional typeface family.
