Background

Crystian Cruz’s award winning graffiti font Brasilêro was awarded first prize at the Tipografia Brasilis in display typography in 2001. In 2009, he was still improving and extending Brasilêro to include optional characters with typical mistakes or alternate forms used for graffiti. At ATypI 2009 in Mexico City, he spoke on the Brasilêro project.
