Background
Apertura is a rounded geometric sans serif referencing the geometrics of the mid 20th century but with a humanistic twist. Because Apertura takes liberties from the strict modernist geometries found in other round types, it is useful in body copy as well as titling. Apertura is both neutral and unique, a useful quality for work where the type needs to be interesting and new without stealing the show. Apertura features advanced OpenType features such as small caps and old style figures as well as an alternate ‘a’ that changes everything.
