Background

Aafje is a pixel cursive designed by Vera Evstafieva. It appeared from an assignment at Type & Media course at KABK in the Hague. Constructing slanted letters from pixels seemed a challenge and it was great fun to solve this design problem. Typeface has Latin and Cyrillic letters, numerals and punctuation marks.
