A design and typography company located in Osaka Japan.
Established July 24th 1974 by Nobuo Morisawa.
Incorporated December 1948.
Started making postscript Japanese fonts in 1989.
Because Romaji (Japanese words spelled out with Latin/English letters) is so common in Japan, all of their fonts also include English Charsets and Punctuation.
There’s a neat feature over at their website called FontPark. It lets you use Japanese characters to create pictures in Flash.
