Background
Inspired by handlettering of the 1950s through 1970s, the Jukebox collection is a treasure trove of typographic Americana. Shop-front windows, advertising, television credits, the tiki lounge aesthetic, and more — designer Jason Walcott draws from eclectic sources to create the collection’s display and script typefaces. With more than 100 designs — including revivals and forgotten gems — this homage to the art of signpainters and lettering artists has new relevance in today’s designs.
