Background
Alphabet Soup Type Founders is the foundry name under which letterforms artist Michael Doret releases fonts. He believes that having had extensive experience in the illustration, design and advertising arenas separates him from other font designers. By creating and releasing his designs through Alphabet Soup he is attempting to bring a very different perspective to the art of font design from that of most other foundries. Bringing his experience of making art with letterforms to bear on font design, he hopes to create a collection of fonts that share the same aesthetic, energy and unique qualities as the lettering and design work that he has become known for.
