Background
Pedro Leal is a typographer, graphic designer, and illustrator currently living in Porto, Portugal. He works at the DSType studio, specializing in the creation of custom typefaces, improving the balance and legibility of existing faces, and fine tuning logotypes.
Pedro is a graduate of graphic design and advertising from ESEIG (Escola Superior de Estudos Industriais e de Engenharia) in Vila do Conde, Portugal.
In 2010, he also graduated from ESAD (Escola Superior de Artes e Design – Matosinhos), majoring in in type design.
