Background
Laurent Bourcellier is gratuated of the Diplôme en Communication Visuelle at the École Duperré (diploma in arts and crafts, Paris), he has taken lessons at the typographic department of Sin Lucas Art School (Gent) and is gratuated of the DSAA en Création Typographique at the École Estienne (higher diploma in arts and crafts in the typographic design department, Paris).
This enables him to work as a junior art director at Publicis Consultant (Paris), then as a type designer at Porchez Typofonderie.
He regularly collaborate to the project typographies.fr for which he has notably made the Joos, and with Jonathan Perez the Copte Scripte font, which received the Type Directors Club Certificate of Excellence in Type Design of New York in 2009.
