Jackson Burke




Jackson Burke (San Francisco, California 1908 – 1975) was a book designer who succeeded C.H. Griffith as Director of Typographic Development at Mergenthaler-Linotype from 1948 until 1963. He designed the Trade Gothic, Majestic and Aurora typefaces (among others) during this time.
