Background
Chris Bilheimer has been creating all the art and design for R.E.M. together with band-mate Michael Stipe, for 15 years. Their collaborations have garnered 3 Grammy nominations for Best Package Design and sold more than 15 million copies world-wide.
Bilheimer attended the fine arts program at the University of Georgia. He began working with the band R.E.M. in 1994 and continues to work in the music industry, art directing bands such as Green Day and Weezer.
