Font Fridays: Bravissima
This week we have another lovely font giveaway from the friendly folks at Veer.
A spirited brush script
Designed by Angel Koziupa and Alejandro Paul, Bravissima‘s traditional calligraphy is paired with OpenType features, a wealth of alternate characters, and support for many Latin-based languages. Ideal for food packaging design or anything else that makes you want to eat.
How it works
As before, you can enter the contest by answering a question in the comments below: what is your favorite typographic logo? You have until 8am EST Monday, November 9 to submit your answer; you may only enter once. After 8am Monday, a winner will be randomly selected, and we’ll announce the name here.
Stay tuned for more giveaways next week, plus some Thanksgiving specials coming up!
Update: And we have a winner: Jeremyorion wins Bravissima! Thanks again to Veer for sponsoring the giveaway.

I have always been a fan of the FedEx logo. The figure/ground arrow still gets me.

I don’t like the current iteration, but older versions of the Rolling Stone logo rank high among my favorite typographic logos.

The Fedex logo is my personal favourite. I still enjoy pointing out the arrow created by the negative space to people who have never noticed it.

I think that one of the most ageless typographic logos is General Electric’s. I also like Sun Microsystems’ logo.

I’m with countless others here: FedEx.
And I’m with Alessandro, too: puttanesca is written with a double t.
